Hello

Hello, I’m Nacho Frades, a digital painter from Madrid, Spain, born in 1967. Art has been my passion since childhood, sparked by the books and artworks that filled my home, especially a striking El Greco portrait on a piece of furniture. By age seven, I was sketching constantly, soaking up inspiration from museum visits around Madrid. This led me to join the Círculo de Bellas Artes, a hub for innovative art, where I honed my drawing skills.

I later pursued a Master’s with the renowned Antonio López in southern Spain, sharpening my craft further. My career took a dynamic turn when I entered the animated film industry, where I discovered my love for digital painting. I created two films in six years, and since 2005, I’ve been a full-time digital artist. My work, which began with tools like Deluxe Paint II in 1987, explores a futuristic subconscious, blending vibrant visuals with metaphysical themes.

My art is part of private collections worldwide, from the United States to Singapore, and is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Digital Contemporary Art. I’m also a writer, having published a book of meditations titled *Nacho Frades, Meditaciones*. For me, art isn’t what people *should* do—it’s what we *do*. It’s a window to undiscovered worlds, and I invite you to explore mine through my digital creations and cryptoart. Thank you for joining me on this feed.
